With 134 hotels open across the world and another 124 opening soon, Hotel Indigo (part of IHG Hotels & Resorts) identified an opportunity to build relevance with the Next Gen Traveler in a way that matched the brand’s worldwide momentum. Hothouse Inc. (Atlanta) was asked to develop the first national brand spot for Hotel Indigo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The Approach
Our insight: Hotel Indigo inspires local discovery through a world of neighborhood stories, turning guests into insiders. We captured this meaningful connection with a :30 spot that empowers the next generation to travel their own way. To freshen up existing footage, we paired user-generated content with refreshed brand assets over a narrative that spoke to the idea of being in the know wherever you go. We met the Next Gen Traveler in their native environments through targeted placements on YouTube TV and across social media platforms.

The Results
Since it’s launch, the video has garnered 6.4 million+ views on YouTube TV.
