Martin Luther. Reformer, Theologian, Protestant, and Protester. He nailed his 95 Thesis to the church door in order to announce his disagreements with the Roman Catholic Church.
What would life be life if we went around nailing our grievances to doors?
Imagine a world where we openly proclaim our disagreements in a public manner. Just think of it – post-it note protests stuck to WalMart cashiers’ faces, construction paper complaints stuck to fridges with alphabet magnets, ledgers of lamentations to lawyers (I’m in an alliteration kind of mood today…)
Would life be easier if we wore our complaints on our sleeves?
It definitely gives a whole new meaning to the idea of “learning from history”.
